Over the past 15-20 years as their was only hockey, the members began to hold an annual christmas party which subsequently began to become a very popular event. It was not only an event to bring friends & families together but also to generate much needed revenue to support the hockey club.

We the started to have an annual Valentines dinner & dance party which again proved very popular. As the club has grown in membership Sikh Union have now formed a social body to concentrate on all social functions throughout the year

Over the last few years the committee have organised several annual events such as

* Vasakhi mela
* Charity walks
* Picnics
* Barbques
* Valentines dinner and dance
* Christmas party
