International Games Coventry 2005
The international children’s games were held in Coventry this year at WarwickUniversity. Sikh union were delighted that a team from New Delhi, India was attending the games and participating in tennis, football and swimming. The club vice chairman Mr. Omkar Singh Hunjan, the treasurer Mr. Surinder Singh Marawaha along with Baldev Singh Chaven and Bali Singh Panesar met up with the team on the Sunday morning and presented them with a token trophy each to mark their visit to our city, Coventry. Omkar Singh Hunjan said “It was a pleasure meeting the coaches, the city representative, the delegate, the team hosts and all the participants and hoped their stay in Coventry was memorable one and they will take with them some fond memories of the games, as well as the city of Coventry”.
